My girls are in costumes so frequently that Halloween is really just like any other day in our house.
Except for that candy thing.
Every year Halloween reminds me why I don't keep any candy in our house.
I have ABSOLUTELY no self discipline when it comes to candy. None.

We had two sets of costumes this year. First there was Sam's school costume.
The only hitch was that apparently I was the ONLY parent who didn't get the notice
that kids weren't supposed to wear costumes to school.
Oh well. It's preschool.
In the evening they changed into their REAL costumes
and went trick-or-treating as Hello Kitty and Tigger.
And to think, I hate cats.
But these were two dang cute felines.
Abby was WAY into her first trick-or-treating experience.
She had a death-grip on that bucket of candy all night and boldly marched to each door.
Judging by her enthusiasm for her treats she may have inherited her mama's problem with candy.
Showing off their loot.
It was a great day of costumes, friends, neighbors, and CANDY.
